About this Program
Simmons University undergraduate first-year scholarships are forms of merit scholarships that are awarded through the Admissions process, and most do not require a separate application. Decisions are based on your academic performance, achievement in leadership, community service, co-curricular activities, and other talents. Renewal is contingent upon meeting specific requirements summarized under 'Eligibility' for each award.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
- Apply as a first-year student for the fall semester.
- Acquire a minimum GPA of 3.50
- Has a record of taking college prep, AP, or IB Courses
- English Proficiency is required for non-native English speakers.
- Standardized test scores (optional) of 28+ ACT or 1300+ SAT
- Community Involvement
- Passion for the Field
