The Queensland University of Technology is awarding Excellence Scholarships for International Students to study in Australia. The sponsorships are open for the academic year 2020-2021. 

The QUT Excellence Scholarship is available for an undergraduate student to providing financial support, additional incentives for growth that strengthen your leadership skills and professional networks. 

Benefit:  

The scholarship will be awarded as follows: 

• QUT will reward worth up to $30,000 each for study in any discipline
• The scholarships valued at only $30,000 each for studying faculty courses in Science and Engineering 
• These scholarships will be paid as a stipend of up to $3,750 for up to four years ($7,500 per year) for the standard duration of your course after the HECS-HELP census date of each semester 
• Stipends for study in any discipline valued at $10,000 each 
• This scholarship will be paid out for the first four semesters of your course as a study stipend of $2,500 after the HECS-HELP census date of each semester 
• The university provides an accelerated program of study 
• The students will have early access to research opportunities  
• The students will have the chance to become members of the QUT College of Excellence 
• The students will have access to QUT’s Leadership, Development and Innovation Program 

Eligibility:  

• The applicants must be an international student or an Australian or New Zealand citizen. 
• The applicant must be enrolled full-time undergraduate program at the Queensland University of Technology 
• The applicants must graduate from year 12 in 2020 or graduate from an Australia high school in year 12 in 2019 or have taken an Australian curriculum abroad 
• The applicants must have achieved an unadjusted ATAR of 98 or equivalent (OP 1&2 for 2019 graduates) 
• The applicants must be starting university for the first time in 2021 
• The applicants must have placed QUT as your first preference in your QTAC application 
• Recipients must maintain a 5.00 or higher overall grade point average (GPA) each semester  

How to Apply  

For applying to these scholarships, candidates are needed to follow these steps: 

Step 1: Apply for admission 

• If you want to apply for these scholarships, you will need to take admission in the undergraduate program at the Queensland University of Technology. 

Step 2: Apply for the scholarship 

• After taking Confirmation, the candidate will need to fill the scholarship application form. During the time above frame, only students who are successful in being offered a scholarship are notified. Once selections are finalized, unsuccessful applicants will be notified. 

Step 3: Submit required documents 

• High school Diploma Certificate 
• School transcripts already available 
• Transcripts from prior school (only if requested) 
• Post-secondary transcription 
• Official survey results 
• Start/Course Vitae
