About the program:

 The University of Adelaide rewards international students who have achieved academic merit in their previous studies.

Scholarship recipients will receive a 15% or 30% reduction toward international tuition fees when commencing at the University of Adelaide in 2025. 

This scholarship is based on academic merit and eligibility is determined by the merit achieved in the qualification which constitutes as the basis of admission.

This scholarship is available to:

  • International Students commencing with the University of Adelaide in their coursework award program in 2025;
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) or Academic Package prior to their degree commencement;
  • Applicants that meet the minimum score
  • Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand) that are enrolling as International Students;
  • Available for study in any discipline (some exceptions apply).

Eligibility for the scholarship is assessed automatically at the time of application. Applicants will be notified of their eligibility for the scholarship within the Offer of Admission. No separate application form is required.

This scholarship is based on academic merit, and eligibility is determined by the merit achieved in the qualification, which constitutes the basis of admission to the University. The academic component for admission to the University of Adelaide must be complete for the scholarship to be confirmed.

There are no specific closing dates for this scholarship, but applicants are encouraged to finalise their admissions process as early as possible to allow enough time to apply for a visa and prepare for their studies.

Eligibility for 15% scholarship

Applicants will be eligible for 15% scholarship where they have demonstrated they have achieved the minimum score outlined as follows:

  1. Applicants with a minimum ATAR of 85 (or comparable score) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) program.
  2. Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.5 on a 7.0 scale or comparable score for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) program.
  3. Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian University where studies are completed in Australia) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program.
  4. Applicants completed the Foundation Studies Program (FSP) or Degree Transfer Program (DTP) or Pre-Masters Program (PMP) at the University of Adelaide College (UoAC) having achieved the minimum FSP score of 65% or minimum GPA 3.0 required.
  5. Applicants completed the Foundation Studies Program (FSP) or Diploma Program at Eynesbury having achieved the minimum FSP score of 319 or minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
  6. Applicants who have completed an Australian vocational qualification where studies are completed in Australia and the overall grading is a non-graded pass (competency-based) will be awarded a scholarship to a maximum value of 15%.

Value

The scholarship offers a reduction of either 15% or 30% of the tuition fee for the duration of the chosen undergraduate or postgraduate award program.

Eligibility for 30% Scholarship

Applicants will be eligible for 30% scholarship where they have demonstrated they have achieved the minimum score outlined as follows:

  1. Applicants with a minimum ATAR of 95 (or comparable score) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) program.
  2. Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.5 on a 7.0 scale or comparable score for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) program.
  3. Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.0 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian University where studies are completed in Australia) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program.
  4. Applicants completed the Foundation Studies Program (FSP) or Degree Transfer Program (DTP) or Pre-Masters Program (PMP) at the University of Adelaide College (UoAC) having achieved the minimum FSP score of 85% or minimum GPA 6.0 required
  5. Applicants completed the Foundation Studies Program (FSP) or Diploma Program at Eynesbury having achieved the minimum FSP score of 395 or minimum GPA of 6.0 required.
  6. Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.0 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian University where studies are completed in Australia) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program.
