About Program
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea invites aspiring young individuals from Korea and the five Mekong countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam) to participate in the 2023 Mekong-ROK Youth Group Workshop, which will be held on August 1 (Tue) - 4(Fri). The workshop will be a great chance for the young generations of Korea and the five Mekong countries to foster mutual understanding and friendship.

- Program Language: English
Eligibility
To be eligible for scholarship, the applicants must be:
- Undergraduate or graduate students of Korean or Mekong (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) nationality who are interested in international relations and cooperation between Korea and Mekong region
- Individuals capable of discussing and presenting in English
- Individuals who can participate in the entire schedule including pre-orientation
Requirement
Required submit documentary evidence as follows:
- Certificate of enrollment
- Certificate of language proficiency
Program Benefits
- Roundtrip airline ticket (of foreign residents)
- Accommodation provided (3 nights, maximum of 4 nights according to area of residence and flight schedule)
- Meals, transportation expenses (train, express bus fare)
- Certificate of completion under the name of the Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Award for outstanding presentation
