About the program

The Hyundai Chung Mong-Koo Global Scholarship Program selects and supports scholars who are pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in the fields of business/economics, STEM future industries, Korean language/Korean studies, and public policy from eight ASEAN countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Eligibility criteria

• Be admitted to Seoul National University’s graduate programs for Fall 2025
• Be enrolling in one of the specified majors

Required documents

• Passport copy
• Official transcripts
• Letters of Recommendation (at least one from a faculty member signed by Dean/Vice‑Dean) 
• Study plan or research proposal
• Proof of SNU admission
• Curriculum Vitae
• Any additional docs as required by the CMK website
