Eligibility Criteria 

Basic Requirements

Undergraduate applicants must be under 30 years old and hold a high school diploma. 

Master’s applicants must be under 35 years old with a bachelor's degree and provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. 

Doctoral applicants must be under 40 years old with a master’s degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. 

Other Requirements

Applicants must be foreign nationals with valid passports and must be in good health.

Adherence to laws and university regulations is mandatory. 

Language proficiency is required depending on the program’s language of instruction. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs should provide an HSK certificate, while applicants for English-taught programs need to provide IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE certificates. 

Applicants cannot hold other scholarships simultaneously. 

Application Procedure 

Required Documents Applicants must provide the following: 

• Passport photocopy. 
• Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form. 
• Notarized educational diplomas and transcripts, translated into Chinese or English. 
• Study plans and personal goals.
• Two recommendation letters from teachers. Proof of no criminal record. 
• Bank statement. Statement regarding no drug addiction. 
• Certificates of parents' nationality. 
• Language proficiency certificate (HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE). 
• Important Announcements 
• Inconsistent names or incomplete documents will invalidate the application. 
• Scholarship recipients who cannot arrive on time must notify the university 15 days before the registration deadline. 
• Students who fail the entrance physical examination will lose their scholarship. 
• Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the online portal by July 30, 2025. After a thorough review, selected candidates will be notified of their admission. Successful applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of 400 yuan (approximately $70). The university will issue admission documents, including the JW202 Form and Admission Notice. 
• Applicants must apply the system as requested within the application period.
