About the Program

The Youth Camp for ASEAN & Friends' Engagement (YCAFE) is an international youth exchange program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. The program brings together university students from South Korea and ASEAN member countries to strengthen regional cooperation, cultural understanding, and leadership through discussions, field visits, networking, and hands-on activities. The 2026 theme is "ASEAN, Designing the Future with K-AI."

Eligibility

Be a citizen of South Korea or one of the 11 ASEAN member countries
Be a current undergraduate or graduate student (leave of absence students are also eligible)
Be residing in South Korea (for the 2026 program)
Be able to communicate in English, the official language of the program
Be available to participate for the entire program period

Required Documents

Completed application form
Proof of university enrollment (Certificate of Enrollment or equivalent)
English language proficiency certificate
