About the program 

The Applications are open to apply for the Yenching Global Symposium 2025 in China. This is a Fully Funded Conference at the Yenching Academy of Peking University, China. The Program is open to all the Nationals from all around the world. There is no application fee and IELTS is not required. The Yenching Global Symposium 2025 invites youth, delegates, students, and scholars from different disciplines to conduct and talk about issues related to China and the world and to engage in interdisciplinary dialogues on China. The Yenching Global International Conference will take place from April 17-20, 2025. Around 200 Participants will Join the YGS in 2025 from all over the world. The Theme of the YGS 2025

This Year the theme of the YGS 2025 is Fortitude: Navigating the Tides of Change. YGS is one of the most fruitful, exciting, and fun experiences in China and beyond.

Number of Participants

YGS 2025 will host approximately 200 participants, including all 10th cohort Yenching Scholars and around 100 delegates.

Eligibility Criteria

• The Conference is open to all the Nationals.
• Applicants with strong leadership potential.
• YGS will not ask for IELTS or TOEFL. You can submit English Proficiency Language Proof.
• Born after 11 April 1994.
• Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field at the time of application or;
• Are in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree in any field at the time of application.
• Has a strong interest in China

•  Applicants must apply the system as requested within the application period.
