Campus

Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington has three campuses and several sites spread out over Wellington city. We also have premises in Auckland's CBD.

Auckland premises

The University offers some courses in education, business, and architecture and design innovation at the Auckland CBD premises. Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington's Auckland premises are at Level 4 of 50 Kitchener Street (corner of Kitchener Street and Bacons Lane), located in the Auckland CBD.

Kelburn Campus

Our main Kelburn campus is the largest and centrally located in Wellington city. The Kelburn campus is the heart of the first-year experience at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Kelburn provides comprehensive student support.

Pipitea Campus

Pipitea campus is located in the heart of Wellington’s legal, government, and business district. The campus includes Government Buildings and Rutherford House, and sits adjacent to Wellington’s railway station and bus terminus.

The campus is home to the Wellington School of Business and Government and Law Faculty. It provides facilities for students in their second year and beyond, with approximately 6,000 students studying law, government, and commerce subjects..

Te Aro Campus

Te Aro campus is our centre of Architecture and Design Innovation. It's located close to colourful Cuba Street with funky shops, cafés, and street life as well as supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.

Miramar Creative Centre

A collaboration between Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and Miramar Creative Ltd and sitting amongst the Wētā group buildings on Park Road, Miramar, the Miramar Creative Centre offers unrivalled access to work experience and professional connections with New Zealand’s world-leading film, animation, and game design industries.
