About the program
KU offers renewable merit scholarships to incoming international first‑year students based primarily on high school GPA. These awards help partially fund tuition for up to four years (eight semesters).
Eligibility criteria
- Be an international (out‑of‑state) undergraduate applicant admitted to KU.
- Students must maintain a 3.0 KU GPA and be enroll full‑time (at least 12 credits each for fall and spring semesters).
- Meet the GPA thresholds listed for each scholarship tier.
- Submit a complete admission application by the scholarship deadline (typically May 1 for Fall entry).
