The scholarship allows PhD level program(s) in the field of Molecular Biology, Molecular Sciences, Chemical Biology, Bioinformatics, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Biodiversity, Nanotechnology taught at Taiwan Universities. Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the TIGP 2025 program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree and, if applicable, a Master's degree from a recognized institution.
English Proficiency
As TIGP is an English-language program, applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of proficiency through one of the following standardized tests:
- TOEFL (Internet-Based): Minimum score of 79
- TOEFL (Paper-Based): Minimum score of 550.5
- TOEIC: Minimum score of 785
- GEPT (for locals only): High Intermediate Level
Exemptions from English Proficiency Requirements
- Applicants from English-speaking countries or those who have completed degrees entirely in English (proof required) may be exempt from providing proof of English proficiency.
Additional Criteria
- Applicants can only apply to one sub-program within TIGP, so careful consideration of the desired area of study is essential.
