About The Program
The International Scholarship at University of Alabama at Birmingham is designed for international students applying for a bachelor’s degree in the United States.
The scholarship is automatically considered during admission for eligible first-year international students enrolling full-time at UAB.
The scholarship supports students with strong academic performance and helps reduce the cost of studying in the US.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be currently living outside the United States
- Graduate from a secondary/high school outside the US
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Apply as a first-year undergraduate student
- Not have enrolled in post-secondary/university studies before
- Anticipate holding an F-1 student visa
