Saddle River Day School is a coeducational, college-preparatory independent day school, located in Saddle River, in Bergen County, New Jersey, serving students in Pre-K3 through twelfth grade. Saddle River Day School has three divisions: The Lower Division, the Middle Division, and the Upper Division. In 1966 it received accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, which expires in July 2027. The school is also accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education and is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 302 students (plus 4 in PreK) and 43.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 7:1. The school's student body was 78.1% (236) White, 13.9% (42) Asian, 3.6% (11) Black, 3.6% (11) Hispanic and 0.7% (2) two or more races.

We use Dimensions Math, a hands-on program that ensures students master mathematical principles, and we provide lessons in Spanish, art and music beginning in Pre-K and continuing throughout the Lower School. The innovative way we teach our graphic arts program has even received nationwide recognition from the National Association of Independent Schools. Campus

The Saddle River Day School campus provides students with stimulating work environments. Our school offers a variety of locations for classes. Students travel between buildings for classes depending on department and grade level.

The Main Hall on Campus houses the Main Office, Admissions, Lower School (PreK3- Grade 4), Office to the Head of School, Business Office and the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs.

North Hall is where the Gymnasium, IDEAS Lab, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Graphic Arts Studio and the Senior Commons/Cafeteria are located. In addition to these common areas, academic classrooms for the Middle School and Upper School are held in this building.

Alford Hall is located behind North and Main Hall. The Performing Arts Center, Studio Art rooms, RebelVisions TV & Production Studio, and Music Room, as well as a majority of the Science and Middle School Classrooms are found in Alford Hall.
