About the program

Italy's Diritto allo Studio Universitario (DSU) Scholarships 2025/2026, or Right to University Studies, is a financial aid program designed to make higher education accessible to deserving students facing economic hardship. Administered by universities like Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), DSU provides a lifeline for students who might otherwise struggle to afford the costs associated with pursuing a degree.

DSU is more than just a financial aid program; it's a catalyst for social mobility. By removing financial barriers, DSU empowers students from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education. This, in turn, enriches society by cultivating a more educated and skilled workforce.

The program's emphasis on merit, in addition to financial need, ensures that the benefits reach those who demonstrate academic potential. This approach not only supports individual students but also contributes to the overall quality of higher education.
