About this Program

Oregon State University offers various of undergraduate scholarships for international students and one of those programs is a regional awards scholarship program, in which serves as a merit-based scholarship open to undergraduate first year international students from certain regions of the world. 

Eligibility

To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must be undergraduate first-year and International Year one enrollment.
• Applicants must not have received any government scholarships or sponsored by an external entity.
• Applicants must be of an international student status from regions such as Africa, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asian and IndoChina, Hong Kong and Macau, and Taiwan.

• Psychology
• Human development and family studies
• Kinesiology and exercise science
• Biology/biological sciences
• Health/medical preparatory programs

Required Documents

• High school diploma 
• Academic transcripts (Optional: Cambridge Certificates) 
• English proficiency test
• Official transcripts of test such as SAT/ACT or TOEFLs
• Personal statement (300-400 words)
