About the Program 

The Maastricht University Scholarships 2026 are fully funded awards for international students outside the EU/EEA to study in the Netherlands. Available for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, the scholarships cover tuition, living expenses, and other costs. Maastricht University is known for its high-quality education, innovative teaching, and diverse international community (over 56% of students from abroad).

Eligibility Criteria 

• You hold nationality in a country outside the EU/EEA.
• You do not hold a double nationality from an EU/EEA country.
• You must apply for admission to a Participating degree program at Maastricht University for the academic year 2026.
• Meet the admission requirements.
• Meet the scholarship criteria.

Required Documents

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation letter (clearly explaining your goals)
• Proof of academic excellence (transcripts, certificates, etc.)
• Personal statement of financial need
• One reference letter following UM guidelines
