Global Excellence Scholarship prioritises innovators and disruptive thinkers who want to create genuine and lasting change. Whether you want to start a business, become an activist, take on a campaign or develop your own social enterprise, this scholarship is for you.

Can you demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of our three strategic themes Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing? You don’t need a polished pitch or a fully formed idea. You just need to show us you have the academic qualities and personal attributes to bring new perspectives to our community.

Eligible Programme

All Postgraduate Taught (master's) programmes (full-time) starting October 2025 or January 2026 on our London campus.

Amount

90% of tuition fees which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account

Criteria and eligibility

Have applied for and be in receipt of an offer from your preferred master's programme at Loughborough University London - not open to the Loughborough campus programmes
Demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of our three strategic themes 'Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing'

Applicants must complete an application form outlining how they meet the criteria. No further documentation is required or will be reviewed.

Timeline

31 July 2025 - deadline
5 August 2025 - shortlisted candidates contacted and required to attend a video interview
6 August 2025 - video interviews
8 August 2025 - successful candidate notified
