Beijing Government Scholarship for new international students is used to support more outstanding international students to study at Beijing Foreign Studies University for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The scholarship may only be applied to tuition through exemptions and reductions. Scholarship Standard: Partial (one semester); Full (all or one academic year).

Eligibility 

• All International Students can apply for Beijing Government Scholarship 
• Age limits for Undergraduate Degree is 30 years, for Master’s degree is 35 years, and For Ph.D.is 40 Years
• Applicant must be in good health
• No criminal record
• You can apply with English Proficiency Certificate or HSK

Required Document:

• Application Form for Foreign Students to BFSU
• Application Form for Beijing Government Scholarship
• The applicant’s highest academic qualification, Academic transcripts.
• HSK or certificate for English proficiency
• Other supporting materials that the applicant considers necessary, such as letters of recommendation, certificates of awards, etc.

Important notices

• Applicants should be from BFSU majors that enroll international students. Please refer to the Admission Guide and Enrollment Majors.
• Applicants should first sign in to the International Student Service System of BFSU and finish their online application.
• The scholarship can be only used as tuition by means of reduction and exemption. Scholarship standard: Full (all or one academic year); Partial (one semester).
• The submitted application documents will NOT be returned regardless of acceptance or denial. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
• The applicant is responsible for the authenticity of the materials provided. Applicants should bear all consequences when any dishonesty or falsification is confirmed.
