About this Program
The AYF Fellowship is a program created by Awaji Youth Federation, which was designed to nurture global talent and create a diverse community of passionate young professionals bringing innovative new ideas to a rich rural environment on Awaji Island, Japan. In this program, they have hopes of gathering some of the best talent in the World to create outstanding projects around regional revitalization, innovation, art, and event creation.
Eligibility
- Applicants from around the world are eligible to apply.
- Candidates within the age range of 24 to 30 years are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s Degree to be eligible for the fellowship program.
- Proficiency in the Japanese language is preferable.
- Candidates need to showcase their dedication to addressing societal problems and making meaningful contributions to the fellowship’s projects.
- Candidates should exhibit core values such as hard work, discipline, and genuine care for others,
- Candidates must possess the ability to adapt, persevere, and demonstrate resilience.
- Fellows must possess the capability and drive to effectively turn their ideas into concrete actions.
Program Duration
The duration of the fellowship is 9 months.
