About this Program
Arizona State University is committed to helping a greater number of academically qualified students graduate. Our New American University Scholar awards are offered to outstanding incoming international freshmen and transfer students as they pursue academic excellence at ASU. This program provides qualified students with a monetary award and an environment focusing on knowledge, learning and research plus resources toward understanding and helping solve society's most pressing challenges. Scholarship award amounts may vary based on the campus you are enrolled in. Changes in program, residency or campus may result in a scholarship amount adjustment.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must be non-resident.
- Candidates must be enrolled to study as a full-time student.
- Candidates must be an incoming international first-year student or transfer student.
- Candidates must apply to study at Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe, West Valley, and ASU at Lake Havasu.
- Candidates must have a highly competitive GPA and test scores to be eligible.
- Candidates must be on F-1 visa to be eligible.
- Candidates must not be sponsored by any other scholarships.
- Candidates must be admitted to ASU to be considered for this award.
