The University of Tasmania's University College was launched in 2016 to offer a range of new, innovative, and flexible courses for students looking for a shorter, job-focused qualification or a pathway into a University of Tasmania bachelor program. The range of Diploma and Associate Degree awards offered by University College not only provide tailored education to enter specific professions but deliver the knowledge and skills needed to easily transfer from one career to another throughout the course of employment.

The College of Arts, Law and Education brings together teaching and research expertise in creative arts, education, humanities, law, and social sciences to create a multi-disciplinary hothouse for exploring new ideas and knowledge that will help shape the futures of individuals and societies, both locally and internationally.
