Are you thinking of boosting your career at a reputed university in Australia? If yes, then go ahead and apply for STEM Merit Scholarships for Southeast Asia administered by the RMIT University. The grants are open for the academic year 2021.

The scholarship is open for commencing international students from the Southeast Asia region pursuing an associate, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree in Science, Engineering, and Health at RMIT. The grants provide financial support for the first year of study.

Benefit: 

The scholarship will be awarded as follows:

  • There are 15 scholarships available for semester 1 and 2 (2021)
  • Each winning candidate will get the amount worth AU$ 10,000 for the first year of study.

Eligibility: 

  • The candidate must be a citizen of Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Brunei
  • Applicants must have achieved an overall 70% or equivalent in your last completed qualification
  • Applicants must enroll in full-time an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or masters by coursework program at the university
  • Applicants must submit an application form before the closing date
  • Applicants should not receive any other scholarship covering tuition fees
  • Scholarship selection is based on academic merit and personal statement

How to Apply 

For applying to these scholarships, candidates are needed to follow these steps:

Step 1: Apply for Admission

To enroll in the program, candidates are expected to take admission to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or master by coursework program at RMIT University. Candidates are suggested to apply for the grant before the closing date.

Step 2: Apply for a scholarship

After receiving an offer letter, recipients need to submit an online application form before the closing date.
