About Scholarship Program

20 full scholarships available for Royal Scholarships 2023 for ASEAN students (excluding Thailand), Academic year 2023 to begin in August 2023 to study in international undergraduate programs at Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand.

The four programs are offered as follows:

Institute of Engineering

• Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering (5 scholarships)
• Civil Engineering (5 scholarships)
• Mechanical Engineering (5 scholarships)

Institute of Agricultural Technology

• Innovative Agripreneur (5 scholarships)

Eligibility

• Must have completed study in grade 12 or equivalent or expected to complete by June 2023
• Have an outstanding academic performance
• Have a good command in English
• Be an ASEAN country citizen (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore & Vietnam)

Required Documents

• First you need a @gmail account to fill in the form and upload documents
• High school transcript or an equivalent certificate
• University transcript (if any)
• Any standard English scores (if any), such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, SAT etc. Special considerations for students with scores that satisfy any of the following conditions:
  - SAT not less than 400
  - TOEFL not less than 61 (Internet-based)
  - IELTS not less than 5.0 and each skill not lower than 4.0
   - TOEIC not less than 550
• Statement of purpose (500-600words) “Why you want to study in SUT International Programs?”
• Answer the question “What is the most challenging thing in your life and what you did to overcome such obstacle and what did you learn from such experience?”
• Share a YouTube link to a short video (1-2mins) introducing yourself

Scholarship Benefits

Students who have been accepted and granted the scholarship will be exempted from following expenses and receive expenditures including:

• Exemption of tuition fees, university fee, activities fee
• On Campus accommodation expenses of no more than 6,500 THB per trimester
• Health and accident insurance fee of no more than 8,000 THB per academic year
• Living expenses of 4,000 THB per month
• Duration of undergraduate study 4 years program
