About this Program

Applications are now open for the UNS Scholarship in Indonesia for the August 2025 intake. Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), also known as Sebelas Maret University, welcomes international students from around the world to apply for this prestigious opportunity. The scholarship is available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs across all academic fields. As a public university located in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, UNS offers a unique blend of quality education and cultural immersion.

Scholarship Duration

• Bachelor’s: 8 semesters
• Master’s: 4 semesters
• PhD: 6 semesters
• The settling-in allowance will be provided for up to S$ 1,00

Eligibility

• Be non-Indonesian citizens
• Pursue a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at UNS
• Be available for video call interviews
• Not hold refugee status
• Have financial support for non-covered expenses
• Submit all required documents

Language Requirements

• Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL or equivalent academic English tests.

Important Requirements for Scholarship Recipients

• Complete studies within the allocated time frame
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00 each semester

How to Apply for UNS Scholarship 2025

• Create an account on the UNS International Admission website
• Complete the application form with personal information
• Upload all required documents
• Participate in the initial interview
• Take the computer-based test
• Attend the final departmental interview if selected

• Applicants need to register in the application form: https://spmb.uns.ac.id/international/default/login 
• Applicants must follow its instructions to finish all the required application procedures. 
• Applicants must submit the application in the system as requested within the application period.
