About the Program 

The UC Merit Scholarship is automatically considered for all new international students when they apply to a course at UC. No separate application is needed. Awards are first‑come, first‑served and limited, so students should accept quickly. The scholarship is valid only for the specified course and intake and is confirmed once all conditions are met, the offer is accepted, and required payments are made. The university can withdraw the scholarship in exceptional circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Scholarships are available for all commencing international students undertaking CRICOS-registered programs at University of Canberra’s Australian campuses
• GPA 5 out of 7
• 70% (or equivalent grade) or higher for Bachelor degrees
• 65% (or equivalent grade) or higher for Masters degree

How to Apply 

• No scholarship application is required for this Scholarship.
• To be considered, submit an International student application to study at UC.

• The Admissions Office will assess all applicants’ eligibility for a scholarship at the time of application.
• If awarded, the scholarship will be stated on the offer letter.
