About this Scholarship
The University of Saskatchewan Scholarship 2024 | Canada – Applications are currently open to apply for the University of Saskatchewan Scholarship. Applications for the winter term of January may be submitted now. The University of Saskatchewan is one of the leading universities in Canada. This university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in more than 150 fields of study. Students from all over the world can apply for this scholarship. This is a fully funded scholarship for international students and citizens of Canada are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility
For master degree, the applicant must be:
- A four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent, from a recognized college or university that is relevant to the field of study you are applying for.
- A three-year first-cycle undergraduate degree in an academic discipline relevant to the field of study you want to apply, will be acceptable as the equivalent of a graduate degree.
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (e.g. 60 credit units USask equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research
- Proof of proficiency in the use of the English language can be required for international applicants and for candidates whose first language is not English
For Ph.D. degree, the applicant must be:
- A Master’s or equivalent degree from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the field of study.
- A cumulative weighted average of a minimum of 70% (should be equivalent to the USask grading system) in the Master’s degree
- Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research
- Proof of English language proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English.
For postgraduate Diploma, the applicant must be:
- A four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent that should be relevant to the proposed field of study.
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 65% (USask grade system equivalent) in each of the final two years full time study (e.g. 60 credit units USask equivalent) of the undergraduate program.
- Proof of English language proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English.
Language Requirement
Students who do not belong to an English language-speaking country then you will submit the below-mention documents:
- IELTS Academic: Total score 6.5
- TOFEL: Total score 86
- PTE Academic: The total score should be: 63
- Duolingo: The total score must be: 110
- Cambridge C1 Advanced: The total score should be: 176
- CAEL: Total Score: 70
