The University of Toronto is proud to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarships. The Lester B Pearson International Scholarship 2025 in Canada is open to international students and includes comprehensive coverage of various expenses. Please find the details below:

1. Tuition Fees: The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition fees for the entire duration of the program.

2. Books: Students will receive support in acquiring the necessary books and study materials.

3. Health Insurance: The scholarship provides health insurance coverage for the duration of the program, ensuring students' well-being during their studies.

4. Accommodation Support: Full accommodation support will be provided for a period of four years, ensuring students have a comfortable place to live throughout their undergraduate studies.

Please note that these benefits are specifically designed for international students who are awarded the Lester B Pearson International Scholarship in Canada.

Eligible Nationalities

The Lester B Pearson International Student Scholarship 2025 is open to international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

For international students only: This scholarship is open to students who are not citizens of Canada and require a study permit to attend school there.
Completing high school recently: You must be in your final year of senior secondary school in the academic year 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
Starting at U of Toronto in Fall 2: This scholarship is intended for students beginning their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025. It's not available for students already enrolled in post-secondary education elsewhere, including those starting in January 2025.

Application Procedure

Applications Open: July 1, 2024

Step 1: Get Nominated by Your School (by October 11th, 2024)

Check with your school counselor to see if they participate in the Pearson Scholarship program. If not, they can apply to join.
If your school already participates, they will be able to nominate you by October 11th, 2024.

Step 2: Apply to the University of Toronto (by October 18th, 2024)

Submit your application to the University of Toronto by October 18th, 2024, for admission starting September 2025.

Note: Only your first choice of program will be considered for the scholarship if awarded.

Step 3: Complete the Scholarship Application (after nomination and UofT application)

Once nominated and applied to UofT, you'll receive a private link to the online scholarship application.
Complete the application and submit all required documents by November 8th, 2024.

Important Deadlines:

School nomination deadline: October 11th, 2024
U of T application deadline: October 18th, 2024
Scholarship application & document deadline: November 8th, 2024

The scholarship selection process places special emphasis on the impact candidates have had on their school and community, and their potential to contribute positively to the global community. Approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars each year.
