About this Program
The Macquarie University Sponsored Student Grant is awarded to future international students commencing their course in 2024 on a fully-funded external scholarship from Asian or Australian scholarship bodies. The scholarship is a one-off award worth up to AUD $5,000. There are a limited number of Sponsored Student Grants awarded each year.
Eligible Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be in receipt of a fully funded external scholarship from Asian or Australian scholarship bodies. Applicants also have to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a full offer.
- Be a full-time student studying on-campus.
- Achieve a minimum 65 WAM for postgraduate or a minimum 85 ATAR (or equivalent) for undergraduate applications.
- Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.

- All courses available at Macquarie University.
