About this Program
The IRENA Youth Forum, titled "The New Generation of Decision Makers," is being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, aiming to provide young individuals with the opportunity to excel in energy transformation using the latest technology and innovative techniques. The forum will offer connections with IRENA professionals, lawmakers, and global scholars, allowing young enthusiasts to participate in IRENA's agenda of promoting sustainable energy development to prevent climate change. The 15th IRENA Assembly will feature sessions on energy transformation and preservation methods, as well as workshops on energy transition through advanced technologies. IRENA aims to provide equal opportunities for young people from all over the world to participate in this event. The fully funded forum will host 35 participants from around the world, allowing them to interact with energy experts and develop potential policies that benefit society. The forum will also build understanding among young energy associates about the benefits of energy transition beyond just energy conservation.
Eligible Countries and Participants
Applications applying must:
- Be between the ages of 16 to 35 years
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be willing to travel on the mentioned date of the event.
- Mention a project that the individual is involved in related to sustainable energy development
- Write a statement mentioning your expectations from this international youth forum.
