About the Program 

The Human Rights Summit 2026 (May 21–24, Canada) is a fully funded four-day forum at UBC, open to all academic backgrounds without TOEFL/IELTS, focusing on freedom of speech, human rights, and education’s role in global equality.

Eligibility Criteria 

• All citizens of any nation are welcome to apply for this summit in Canada.
• Age Requirements: 18+ for the Observer Category, 16-35 for the Fully Funded Category
• A strong commitment to social change is required, as is participation in educational and social initiatives or a well-defined change vision.
• A passport is necessary, but if you don’t have one, a national ID will do.
• Neither the TOEFL nor IELTS is required.

How to Apply 

• Fill out the online form with personal, educational, and motivation details.
• Choose participation type (fully funded, partially sponsored, self-sponsored, or access pass).
• Pay the application fee (unless granted one of 25 full waivers).
• Upload required documents (photo, passport/ID, certificates).
• Review all details and documents before submission.
• Submit before the deadline.
• Await email results and follow next steps if selected.
