China Link Scholarship Program 2025 at HIT University

About this Program

To deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between the Chinese and foreign young generations, and to build a platform for the international exchanges and cooperation of young talents, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) has established the China Link Scholarship Program for international students and faculty members hoping to engage in academic and research activities in China.

Eligibility

Applicants from countries around the world can apply except the Republic of China.
Applicants applying should have good moral character.
Applicants should have an excellent academic background.
Applicants should be both mentally and physically fit to avail themselves of this opportunity.
Applicants applying for the general scholars’ program should not be older than 45 years and senior scholars’ program should not be older than 50 years.
Applicants should either be registered as full-time students or as employees at CSC’s partner universities while applying. The list of CSC partner universities is available on the official website.
Applicants should have an invitation letter from HIT University.

Benefits

For selected students:

The CSC (China Scholarship Council) will award a full scholarship meaning there will be no tuition fees.
On-campus accommodation will be provided.
Comprehensive medical insurance will be provided.
The monthly stipend will be given to both General and Senior scholars, where:
General Scholars will be given 3000 CNY/ month.
Senior Scholars will be given 3500 CNY/ month.

Program Duration

The program duration for both scholar program scheme will be 1 to 12 months facilitated at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT University).

Required Documents

A scanned copy of a valid passport.
A letter from your current school or employment university.
Transcript of latest educational degree.
A personal statement or a research proposal of a minimum of 500 words.
Personal health statement for applicants who will stay in China for less than 6 months.
Copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form for applicants who will stay in China for more than 6 months.
Record of non-criminal report/statement.
Invitation letter given by HIT University.
Articles published (optional)
Language Proficiency Certificate is optional.

Any other relevant documents are optional.
