The KMU scholarship opportunity aims to offer medical students the opportunity to flourish and contribute to the development of medical science worldwide. The students will get familiar with advanced medical equipment, techniques, and tools. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must:

• having a degree, recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. can apply.
• International Students should meet the regulations regarding international students undertaking studies in Taiwan and can apply.
• Have strong academic record.
• Overseas Chinese students (including Hong Kong and Macao students) should apply either through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students or directly through KMU.
• Mainland China Students should apply through the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students.
• Individuals, having permanent residence in Hong Kong or Macao or has been resided there for more than 6 years can apply.
• Individuals, having permanent residence in Hong Kong or Macao or has been resided there for more than 8 years can apply for the School of Medicine/School of Dentistry.

• Excellent academic record.
• Quality of application form.
• Meeting the eligibility criteria.

Scholarship Benefits

• The scholarship will cover 

1. tuition fees
2. monthly stipend
3. the accommodation

• Academic knowledge of your area of interest will be enriched.
• Exposure to Taiwan’s culture, traditions, and history.

Courses

Applicants should study in the eligible courses.

Program Level

• Undergraduate Program:
  • You should have a senior high school diploma.
• School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine:
  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Master’s Program:
  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Ph.D. Program:
  • You should have a Master’s degree or higher.

Type of Scholarship 

• Type A: NTD 200,000 to 260,000 per year.
• Type B: 80,000 to 140,000 per year.
• Type C: NTD 70,000 to 80,000 per year.

How to apply

1. Applicants must visit the application website.
2. Choose the program, you wish to apply for.
3. Register your account there.
4. You can apply for up to 3 programs.
5. Carefully read the Declaration and agree to the terms and conditions.
6. Fill up all the required fields.
7. Complete your application form carefully and submit it.
8. Upload relevant documentation.
9. Submit the application fee.
10. Take a printout of the application form after filling it up and then again sign in to upload the scanned copy of the form.
11. Ensure to provide 2 references.
12. Apply.
