As a student in Singapore, I love everything here because there are much yummy food, interesting places, and transportation is great especially the whole city is very safe for female students to come here. It’s my second term of Foundation in JCU. The school is very well-managed and all the lectures are amazing. I love studying at this school. More importantly, I feel like I have improved greatly in adapting to a new environment and start to appreciate the cultural differences. Adding to that, living by myself as an international student allows me to be more independent and I have just discovered that I can actually cook many foods.

"Hello, my name is Venglong KAV. I'm currently a student at James Cook University Singapore. I have faced culture shock for the first few weeks of school. Like everyone around has different cultures, different races, different pronunciation, different styles. However, everyone is friendly, also the staffs at James Cook University Singapore are really helpful. Within the first term I'm studying abroad, I've learned so many things like responsibility, independence, and working together as a team. Thank you."
