Global Excellence Scholarship
About this program
The University of Western Australia is offering significant scholarships and this scholarship will be awarded to high achieving undergraduate and postgraduate student across the globe, who apply for particular courses at the University.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must:
- Be a citizen from eligible countries across the globe
- Meet the scholarship criteria
- Commence an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate Coursework degree in 2023
- Have received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia
- Have achieved an equivalent:
- Minimum ATAR 85.00 or higher
- Minimum WAM 65.00 or higher
- If studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), students must have achieved a WAM equivalent of ore than 75.00
Scholarship Benefits
- Undergraduate students can receive scholarships of up to AUD$48,000 over 4 years for commencing in eligible courses in 2024 or AUD$36,000 over 3 years for commencing in eligible courses in 2024
- Postgraduate students can receive up to AUD$24,000 over two years on eligible courses in 2024
Programs
Candidate must be applying for an eligible undergraduate bachelor degree or Assured Pathway course or postgraduate degree (by coursework). The following exclusion apply:
- Assured Pathway to Medicine
- Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine
- Juris Doctor
- Doctor Medicine
- Doctor of Dental Medicine
- Doctor of Optometry
- UWA Micro-credentials
Application Period
The deadline for the application is depend on the intake of course that the applicant applies for.
How to Apply
Applicant must complete the online application and uploading all the supporting documents and submit the application. The scholarship is automatically awarded to those who are eligible based on ATAR/WAM.
