The U.S. Ambassador’s Youth Council (AYC) membership application for the fiscal year of 2023 - 2024 is now open. 

AYC was officially constituted in October 2012, aiming to cultivate young Cambodian leaders, engage Cambodian youth on relevant topics, and receive inputs on U.S. Embassy programs and U.S. policies in Cambodia. Moreover, youths with diverse backgrounds will work collectively to improve their community through project implementation.

1. Application Requirement
- Must be Cambodian
- Be 18 to 25 years of age
- Be able to communicate in English
- Possess some knowledge of social issues, project management or implementation
- Passionate in volunteerism
- Demonstrate leadership skills and teamwork
- Be available to attend the monthly Ambassador's meeting (compulsory)
- Be committed to the Council for a two-year mandate of the volunteer service
- Applicants from various backgrounds especially those residing in provinces are highly encouraged
