Besides passing BINUS World Class Scholarship, you need to understand your passion and choose the right major to study at the university. This is why the university offers 12 interesting majors—whether social science or science— for international students to choose from should they get the scholarship. Below are the 12 majors:

BINUS Northumbria School for Design:

Fashion Management: is a business-focused study of the fashion industry. Within this major, students learn about consumer behavior and work with fashion designers to find out what it takes to sell products in the ever-changing fashion world.

Fashion Design: is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. Fashion designers and students work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories such as bracelets and necklaces.

Interactive Digital Media Design: is a study of creating graphics and animations for various media outlets and electronic devices, such as a cellphone app, web-based computer games, or interactive website. It focuses on producing meaningful experience for people in new digital media such as web page, smartphone, UI (User Interface) devices and screen-based interface design. Interactive digital media design. Students will have the skills of visual design, experience design and new media design.

Graphic Designer and New Media: The Graphic and New Media Program offer a variety of opportunities in the creative industry areas. It is for any student who wants to enhance their creativity and knowledge in challenging competitors such as professional designers in the global creative industry. Within this major, students will be able to possess skills for creativity product develop, learn how to integrate technical skills, theoretical knowledge and imagination for art and design for industry standards.

BINUS ASO School of Engineering:

Automotive and Robotics Engineering: is a field of engineering that deals with the design and application of robots and the use of computer for their manipulation and processing. Automation and Robotics Engineering is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in the production of goods and services. Students will gain the abilities of designing and developing 3D mechanical systems, electronics and embedded computer systems, robotics and automation systems, and automotive and operations engineering.

Product Design Engineering: is responsible for the process of creating and developing new products. Students in this major will be able to research and develop ideas and processes for new products, improve the performance and design of existing products and overseeing production and packaging of final products.

BINUS Business School:

Business Management and Marketing: is the field of Business with Management and Marketing that allows students to study all aspects of the business world in order to engage in it themselves. The students in this field will learn about the process of buying, selling, producing and marketing goods.

International Accounting & Finance: is a highly practical course so students will need to possess sound quantitative skills along with the formal accounting and finance knowledge. The International Accounting and Finance course will give students insights into industry trends and current changes. This major also teaches you how to manage the income within an organization like in investment or spending on improving the business to be more efficient.

International Business: is the trade of goods, services, technology, capital and knowledge across national borders and at a global or transnational level. It involves cross-border transactions of goods and services between two or more countries. After graduating from this major, students are able to become an international marketing director, financial controller, multinational manager, business development director, international trade and customs manager, international foreign policy advisory.

Faculty of Computing and Media & the Faculty of Economic and Communication:

Communication: is the act of conveying meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs, symbols, and semiotic rules. Communication students will be able to become the public relations specialists, meeting or event planner, and also media planner.

Business Information System: sets of inter-related procedures using IT infrastructure in a business enterprise to generate and disseminate desired information. After finishing this field, students can become a systems trainer, support specialist, e-Commerce developer, and enterprise systems manager.

Computer Science: is the study of processes that interact with data and that can be represented as data in the form of programs. It enables the use of algorithms to manipulate, store, and communicate digital information. Within the major, students can become a software developer, database administrator, computer hardware engineer, computer systems analyst, computer network architect, web developer, information security analyst, and computer and information research scientists.
