About Sejong University

Sejong University offers higher education courses and academic programs. The University was named as Sejong University in honor of Sejong the Great, who was the fourth king of the Chosun Dynasty and overseer of the Korean alphabet Hangeul.

Why Should Study at Sejong University?

Sejong University consists of 11 colleges, with 12,000 undergraduate students, 2,400 graduate students, and 1,700 international students. Sejong has restructured its colleges to focus on the engineering college, seeing an increase of engineering students from 40 in 1996 to 1,207 in 2017. In the belief that ‘The world’s finest faculty produces the world’s finest graduates’, Sejong University unveiled a new vision to reach the top 50 universities in Asia by 2020. The preparation is well underway to make this coming year a milestone in the university's history.

Campus 

Sejong University's campus is located at 98 Gunja-dong, Gwangjin-gu, in eastern Seoul north of the Han river, the capital of South Korea is Located directly across from the Seoul Children's Grand Park, the campus comprises of 23 buildings, including the Sejong Private Elementary School building and the Student Center. The campus is a display of buildings built in Korean traditional styles.
